Daqui nasceu o disco Encontro, um projecto sem grande preparação, como o prório Villas-Boas explicou anos depois em entrevista a Luís Maio: "Eles não se conheciam. Eu levei o Byas à Amália, mas ele agarrou-se facilmente ao reportório dela, porque era um grande músico. Em relação à Amália, ela estava um bocado apreensiva, porque não era a área dela".
